Origin Energy, operating on behalf of Australia Pacific LNG, has more than 300 CSG production and pilot wells in the Surat and Bowen basins. Current production is focused on the Spring Gully (including Strathblane, Taloona), Peat and Talinga areas with further phased development planned in these areas as well as Condabri, Orana, Combabula, Reedy Creek, Dalwogan, Pine Hills, Kiama, Ramyard and Woleebee fields. The company plans to progressively develop between 120 and 350 wells per year up to 2016.
