Liquefied Natural Gas Projects
Arrow Energy plans to develop a CSG-LNG facility on Curtis Island, off Gladstone, to be supplied with gas from the Bowen and Surat basins. Stage 1 includes the construction of two trains of about 4mtpa each. The Arrow LNG project has been declared a significant project by the Queensland Government and an EIS process is under way. Queensland Curtis Liquefied Natural Gas (QCLNG) project | construction is under way on this $15b project, with first exports expected in 2014. The first phase of this BG Group project includes the development of a two-train liquefaction plant with a capacity of 8.5mtpa, related wells, field facilities and pipelines.
