Understanding Industrial Relations and Developing Effective Union Relationships

This one-day program will explain the role of unions, in addition to practical strategies for achieving and managing effective relationships with unions in terms of:

  • Right of entry - under the Fair Work and Work Health and Safety legislation
  • Disciplinary action
  • Dispute resolution
  • Enterprise bargaining - union claims and involvement
  • Industrial action (protected and unprotected); and
  • Dealing with difficult people

Ai Group will also explore strategies of how to manage common industrial relations issues, whilst complying with the Fair Work Act. The benefits for participants include:
