The Dugald River mine stoping trial continued to progress in the third quarter with a total of 13 trial stopes now successfully mined and backfilled.  Stope spans between 15m and 30m have proven stable for the geotechnical conditions encountered.

A geological and geotechnical program is now underway to review the findings in relation to the entire ore body.

The stoping trial seeks to determine the accurate stope design parameters and productivity assumptions for Dugald River leading up to the assessment of future options for the project.

The Dugald River Zinc deposit is located NNW of Cloncurry around 300 kms from MMG’s Century Mine operation at Lawn Hill in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
