A pilot is planning to raise $250,000 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and needs 50 friends to help.

25-year-old Andy Farrow will fly clock wise around Australia for the ’50 faces of the RFDS’ promotion.

Andy recently told Toowoomba commercial radio station 4GR that these ‘faces’ will cover the diverse role the RFDS plays in bush life.

“We’re looking for anyone, anywhere in Australia that has a real story to tell about the RFDS. It can be staff, volunteers, patients, anyone who has anything to do with the RFDS; dental, mental health, auxiliary volunteer services,” he said. They have a massive staff.”

There’ll be a documentary crew filming the effort which will also be covered on social media.

Andy takes off from Townsville in May next year on the flight which is expected to take two months.
