Ootan Limestone project

Metallica Minerals is divesting itself of limestone leases in Queensland.
The company has advised of plans to sell four granted mining leases covering the Ootan limestone tenements and associated quarrying equipment for $500,000.
The sale by Metallica’s 100 per cent owned subsidiary Phoenix Lime is to an unnamed private limestone and lime group.
The Ootan leases are located around 180km southwest of Cairns in the Chillagoe district. The product was used locally on canefarms to promote soil ph levels.
Expressions of interest have also been received for other Metallica limestone leases near Townsville and Gladstone.
