Nominees announced for Gladstone awards

The nominees have been announced for the Gladstone Engineering Alliance Industry awards.

Mark Whitmore, Cliff Pugh and Steve Kelly from XPort Plumbing, Dan Madden from Prime Rentals and Vern Elms from Ezi Communications are up for the Forty Calis Memorial Award.

The Forty Calis Memorial Award recognises the achievements of an individual who has demonstrated an entrepreneurial essence to gain business success in the engineering and support sector.

Scott Harrington from Xtreme Engineering and Patrice Brown from CQG Consulting have been nominated for the Wayne Peachey Memorial Award which recognises the achievements of an individual who has demonstrated exceptional quality in service or product.

The winner of the awards will be announced at Gladstone Engineering Alliance’s Industry Gala Dinner, held on Thursday October 15, 2015. Tickets are on sale until October 2.
