Posted December 1, 2015

Mining contractors and suppliers with operations in Queensland are invited to enter their best work into seven major award categories announced by the Bowen Basin Mining Club.

The Queensland Mining Contractor Awards 2016 includes categories such as cost saving initiative, time saving initiative, project innovation and mining contractor of the year.

BBMC director Jodie Currie said company size was no barrier.

“The awards highlight any supplier or contractor delivering innovative solutions, best practice and value for money,” she said.

“We’re about showcasing excellence and new industry benchmarks being made right here in Queensland.

“This is a business opportunity to be recognised and to give your team a boost,” she said.

Submissions open on January 11, 2016.

Entry packs, conditions of entry and an outline of each category is available at www.bbminingclub.com/awards.
